kaleidoscope kite reminded me
of a sky diver
riding the air streams
up higher and higher
above the sand and swells in the sea
limbs flung back

These are old photos of mine, and they always make me smile. The kite in all its wonderful colors looked to me like someone taking the ocean breeze for a carefree ride. I wrote the words shortly thereafter.
