My barefoot gardening days are very brief now and will soon end for a few months. It’s always a bit sad to see the summer go, but the respite from gardening tasks is welcome, and there is joy in looking forward to and planning next year’s garden. Your gorgeous photo is very peaceful — a gentle goodbye to summer.
