tall ornamentals,
a moment to hold,
the dock rocks gently,
it rises and falls,
fish are lively, they’re jumping,
and the glow of the last light of this August day
shines through the clouds,
the last light
before sundown

For sure. I’m a 4-season person, but I’m never ready for fall.

… except for those of us who love autumn breezes and winter snows. You can have any day that goes over 75F.😉

Well, I don’t particularly love autumn, because I’m still holding onto summer. But I’m definitely one who embraces winter. If it’s the middle of March, and there hasn’t been a good snow, I’m still hoping for a good blizzard. I need four seasons, and I certainly need some winter.

Dusk is my favorite time of day because of the way the light makes everything turn to magic. Lovely photo.
